Gift Guide : December 2016

The holidays are an exciting and beautiful time. Lots of great food, drinks and hanging out with your friends and family. However, gift shopping can set aside the festivities and replace the holiday fun with holiday stress. I’ve taken the stress out of gifting and compiled a list to give my readers some ideas on what to buy for that special someone in your life.

The Tech Geek:

For the friend who loves their technology, Uniqfind is a great company. They make laptop and cellphone cases with amazing designs. They have such cute and unique prints that you’ll be sure to find something for everyone. They are super affordable too so you won’t be breaking the bank on this gift!

Confetti Memphis Macbook Skin, $24.99

The Artist:

We all have a creative soul in our life, someone who eats up art as if it’s the the best thing since sliced bread. As I am one of these souls, it was hard to choose just one thing for this category. I think going with a print is a great choice. Prints can be customized, so you can really cater the gift to your giftee. There are so many prints out there and DENY Designs has hundreds to choose from. Whether it be a beachy LA style home, or a contemporary one, you can find one that will fit their style. If you feel so inclined, you can choose to pay a little extra for the print to come framed, so they can literally open and hang up their gift in one night.

Print, $16-$49

The Workaholic:

For the friend we all love who works (sometimes a little too much), i’d suggest a lovely desk calendar for the upcoming year. It’s a perfect gift for someone who wants to stay on track and it gives them something pretty to look at too. This calendar style comes in a variety of prints and is small enough that you could carry it on the go as well. Great for someone who may travel for their work or is more traditional in their organization.

Desktop Calendar, $34.00

The Social Butterfly:

This gift is great for a person that loves to entertain and host. A carafe is something I think everyone should have in their home anyway, but I think for someone who has frequent visitors this is a wonderful gift. This one from Schoolhouse Electric is so darling and I love the vintage feel it gives off. The carafe is textured on the outside and the glass itself is Italian hand-blown. For the price, I think this piece looks a lot more expensive than it is and would be a beautiful display item at any dinner party.

Textured Carafe, $68.00

The Acquaintance:

Sometimes we run into a situation where we want to get a gift for someone who we haven’t known for a long period of time. Whether it be a friend of a friend or a co-worker, you can’t go wrong with candles. These candles come in a set of three and the scents are warm, wintry and not overly sweet! They are made with high quality wax and cotton wicks, so they are ensured to last longer and burn slower. The packaging is stunning and it would make a perfect addition to anyone’s home.

Winter Scented Candle Trio, $35.22

I hope this list helped gather some ideas to your holiday shopping. I would love to hear your thoughts on where you buy your favorite giftable items for that special someone.

Happy Holidays!
