So I’ve been MIA for a week and this is because I am about to move across the country from my current city of Denver! Between packing, finishing up my last few weeks at my current job and finding time to spend with friends, life is has been a little hectic to say the least. So I am sorry that there was no post last week- I will definitely get back on track after this move is done and over with.
I’ve decided to try out this new segment that will come out seasonally to share any items I have been eyeing or feel are great “seasonal” pieces with my readers. I think it’s fun to share items you are excited about before a season fully arrives. And it helps me start thinking about how I am going to style the items I have or whether I will add anything into my wardrobe.
Nothing says fall like an orange saddle bag am I right? While this bag is definitely an investment, A.P.C is a brand I trust and I can see this bag wearing beautifully with time. The shape of it is great because it’s roomy, but it’s still a bag that is on the smaller size. The gold hardware gives it an elegant, timeless look.
A sweater is a staple to any fall wardrobe and this one is a little more unique than your run of the mill sweaters. With a Italian wool base and lovely little scalloped hem on the bottom, this sweater will give your outfit a little romantic flair.
Boots are my weakness, so when fall comes around I have a hard time not spending money on yet another pair of boots. I found out about these when I learned about the designer. She is from South Korea and has a very minimalist, artistic line of shoes. Think chunky block heels, heeled loafers and small hardware details. I fell in love with these when I saw them. They are a nod to the 60’s mod era with the ring detail on the back and I love the nude color and the length of the boots. These would go great with a mini skirt and tights or some straight leg cropped black jeans.
I am not usually much of a hat person on a day to day basis besides the occasional sun hat or beanie for winter, but this hat kind of makes me want to incorporate hats into my fall look. I know I know, again with the nod to the 60’s- I can’t stop. I love adding vintage twist to my outfits. Sue me.
What are your favorite pieces for transitioning into fall season? I’d love to hear from you, so comment down below.
Until next time,
