It is no secret that I am a HUGE fan of Lively. With 3 bralettes already in my possession and I am sure more to be bought in the future, Lively is a brand that I always tell my friends about when they mention how uncomfortable their current bras are. Bras and comfort are antonyms in the world of womanhood, but I think Lively is truly changing the game.
When Lively decided to launch a perfume, I was all about it. My perfume collection is always growing and I was excited to add a more affordable, everyday perfume into my circle.
With its super minimalist label and name, this perfume’s aesthetic is very modern. They touched on the millennial pink craze with the liquid being light pink in color. Overall the bottle has a nice weight and it doesn’t feel cheap by any means. I have had no issues with any leaking and I like that the bottle is more compact. It would be a perfect bottle to take traveling!
The scent is very light and it’s supposed to be. Their whole mantra behind this scent was to make it easy to wear on the regular for anybody. With notes of pear, salt, and sandalwood, the perfume really reminds me of a warm summer day. It is really balanced between floral and fresh and isn’t musky at all. So with all that being said, at the end of the day, I still smelled it on me, but it was pretty faint. I don’t mind that when I want something light, but if heavier smells are your thing Jasmine. Sea. Sun may not be for you.
At $55, this perfume is very affordable and a much lower price point than most eau de parfum’s out there. I would put it in the same category as the Glossier perfume as far as the price to product ratio.
If you try this perfume out for yourself, please comment your thoughts on it. I would love to hear if you liked it as much as I did!
Until next time,
