When summer arrives, we all want to spend as much time outdoors as possible until the winter weather comes to haunt us. Summer brings parties, cookouts and days lounging on the patio. Whenever seasons change, I always get into the mood of adding a few fresh items into my space for the season that is current. Whether you are creating an al fresco evening with friends or just reading in your sunroom, adding in these few accessories is sure to make your home feel like summer.
Laundry baskets are an item that most people look over when shopping for home accessories. Usually they are tucked away where no one sees them. I am advocate in sprucing up even the little details! This laundry basket brings in a natural aspect and would brighten up any bland laundry room.
I love a good palm print! This pillow in particular would go great on your porch or inside the home. The blue and white pattern gives it a more unique twist from other palm patterns I’ve seen. It’s tropical without feeling corny.

Decanter are the last piece of any bar cart puzzle, but the decanter can be useful for any al fresco evenings as well. These cheeky little gold one would be a perfect complement to a glamorous garden party.

I am a sucker for cute mugs. Period. I love waking up in the morning and grabbing a fun mug to enjoy my tea in. Something about it feels so comforting. These mugs are ones I have had my eye on for quite some time and I might have to take the plunge. They are colorful, retro and would be perfect to use when you have your gals over for brunch.

If you’ve browsed through my blog you know I am a fan of tapestry wall hangings in the home. There is something about having texture against smooth walls that I love. When I saw this little guy, I immediately thought of the perfect place that this could live in. A sunroom. The glass on this would give off beautiful light with the sun hitting it. Who doesn’t want a little extra sparkle in their life?
