Sometimes I wonder why I don’t live near a beach because I have built up quite a collection of bathing suits throughout the years. And as someone who doesn’t enjoy the heat AT ALL, the saving grace is the days when it’s too hot to be in anything other than a swimsuit. Whether you are into rocking a one piece or more of a bikini girl, there are so many options out there and can be overwhelming to shop for the right fit, style, and coverage you are looking for.
From affordable high street brands to more luxurious brands, I share my tried and true pieces that I gravitate towards time and time again. If the one I am showing is sold out, I will link a bathing suit that is as similar as I can get it!
A classic print and one that anyone can pull of! This high-waisted swimsuit is one of my favorites especially for days when I want to wear a bikini but want a little more coverage. This one is so comfy and the top almost feels like an activewear top in the sense that I never feel like I am going to precariously pop out of it. 😉

This is one of my newest bathing suits (it’s currently on sale right now) and I looovve the fit. I am usually skeptical about strapless anything because it tends to slip down, but this top fits perfectly. The bottom on this bikini set is high cut, which pairs perfectly with the simplicity of the top.

Graphic tees have been all the rage, so why not put some letters on a swimsuit too!? I love the “soleil” print on this bathing suit and the bright, lemon yellow color. The double strap on the top and bottom is really fun, except for the silly tan lines that develop.

Like the polka dot, the striped pattern is a classic print that even people how hate prints shouldn’t shy away from. I purchased this piece from Solid & Striped, one of my favorite bathing suit shops. While the price points are higher, the bathing suits come in truly great quality that you can wear for years to come.

Everyone should own a one piece in my opinion. Whether it is to protect yourself from the sun or for those days when you just want to eat and drink however much you want on the beach, one pieces are a great alternative to bikinis. Also, the myth that they are not sexy… so untrue. They are so flattering and elongate your legs. Who doesn’t want that!? This low cut red one is one I frequently go for!

I hope this list inspired you to get outside somewhere near water. (Don’t forget to slather on the sunscreen!) What styles do you typically gravitate towards? Which picks were your favorites?
Until next time,
N.
