I haven’t done a trending piece in a while, so I thought it was about time to get one posted– and it’s about pearls. I was never a pearl gal. Something about them made me think of a suburban mom from the 50’s. They felt conservative and too preppy for my personal style, until 2019 hit.
Pearls have been everywhere and more and more, I have been enticed by pearls in various shapes and sizes, on rings and in statement earrings, big or small. I’ve seen them styled in a variety of looks from trendy to edgy and seemingly they are so versatile. Who knew?

THIS BABY. 😍 I admit it was an impulse purchase from one of my favorite local shops Rosewood. Sue me. But one of the best impulse purchases I have bought yet. I have worn this necklace as a layering piece nonstop and I am still so in love with it. I think pieces like this are great to have because they have a visual interest to them without being OTT. It’s the right length to make layering even simpler, which is a huge bonus.
