Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, it is time to focus on Christmas, my personal favorite holiday of the year. I love everything about Christmas- the food, the decor, the cold weather, and of course the gifting. I am a person who looooves to give gifts. It’s so fun to give the people you love a little treat. For this season, I have decided to put together not one, but two gift guides for you all. I’m gettin’ in the holiday spirit! Part 1 will be all fashion related and part 2 will be more interior related. There might be some flucation into beauty, but you all will forgive me, right? 😊
Sunglasses are one of those practical gifts that everyone needs and will actually use. They are also a really great gift that you can customize by someone’s style and there are so many choices out there! Some of my favorite brands for affordable sunglasses are: Sonix, Ray-Ban, Crap, and Le Specs. I own a pair from all these brands and they are all really great quality.

For the gal in your life who loves makeup, a palette is a really great gift to give. With a wide range of eyeshadows, they can really use one item for a multitude of looks. I love this one from Beautycounter, for the variety of nudes, metallics, pinks and coppers. It’s such a great palette for us brown-eyed gals and I am dying to get my hands on one of these. Oh and they are a non-toxic brand, so you can feel good about putting these shadows on those precious lids of yours.

What girl wouldn’t be excited to get a sweater? And a rainbow one at that. I love this mockneck sweater as a fun addition to anyone’s wardrobe and it’s something that someone will get to enjoy right away. If you don’t have the budget for a 100% percent wool sweater, then a wool blend can have the warmth and quality benefits too! This Gap one looks so cozy and I love the fact that it’s a bold pattern to bring some color into the dreary winter days.

For the friend who loves her jewelry, a pair of simple gold hoops are a great staple to gift. I love the shape of these Luv Aj ones as they seem a little retro. Depending on who you are shopping for, you can change the size, shape and metal material. Although I am always one for the gold, baby.

I know it’s crazy to think that barrettes are back. Barrettes have been revamped and modernized (fashion is cyclical) and I for one, think it’s kinda cool. You can go as big and loud or as understated as you want and I think these would make a great gift for the trendy friend in your life. Stores like Free People and Urban Outfitters have some killer selections. What do you think? Too much?
