18 days people, 18 days. This weekend was a whirlwind of wedding meetings and planning to continue to align all details for the day. It was pretty exhausting, but I think we got the majority of the grunt work out of the way. Yay!**
With some admin details out of the way, I decided to finally start putting together and wrapping my gifts for my #bridesbabes and I thought I’d share what I did in case anyone was stuck!
I really wanted to get the girl’s something special from one my favorite jewelry brands GLDN. They had these sweet & dainty, gold bracelets that had two interlocking circles that represented friendship and as soon as I saw those, I knew they were what I wanted to get them. It’s something that I know the girls will wear and it’s simple enough that even if their style evolves it would stay a timeless piece.
Originally, I was going to wrap each of the boxes that the bracelets came in, but then I decided that I wanted to add in some other little bits with the bracelets which led me to the decision that I was going to make gift boxes for each girl.
Since all my girls love skin care and pampering themselves, I decided to make the gift boxes slightly revolve around that and I placed a bath bomb, gold eye hydrating eye gel patches, and sheet masks into each box. I figured they would either use it during the wedding week or take it home to relax with after. (We all know weddings take a lot out of you!)
As far as the packaging, me being the person that I am, I wanted them to be pretty and personalized in some way to each girl. Even though they are all getting the same gifts, I wanted it to feel special for each of them. I started by purchasing these adorable mini cards from Target and wrote a heartfelt message to each girl. Then I found these sparkly, letter gold stickers that I thought would look perfect against the brown kraft box. A black ribbon is what I chose to tie everything up in to keep it looking chic.
I love how my boxes turned out and I really hope the girls will love them. They all mean so much to me and I am excited to celebrate my wedding day with them.
What did you do for your bridesmaids? What are your thoughts on the boxes I made? Comment down below, I would love to hear from you.
Until next time,
** This has been posted after my wedding, but I decided to keep the initial thoughts that I wrote because it felt more genuine that way. 🙂
